Internationals

With Tuur Rommens, Sergiy Sydorchuk, Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, Josimar Alcocer, Emir, Adedire Mebude, and Luka Vuskovic, seven of our Kemphanen have received call-up letters from their national team coaches. Once again, KVC Westerlo is well represented on the international stage during this international break.

With the Nations League and qualification rounds for the World Cup and the U21 European Championship, a busy week of important matches is lined up for our international Kemphanen.

At the highest level, Sydorchuk will swap his KVC Westerlo kit for that of the Ukrainian national team for matches against Albania and the Czech Republic in the European Nations League. Alcocer, in turn, will do the same in the CONCACAF version for North and Central America and the Caribbean, where he will face Guadeloupe and Guatemala with Costa Rica.

Sayyadmanesh’s Iran will take on Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates in their World Cup qualification round.

At the youth level, Tuur Rommens, Emir, Adedire Mebude, and Luka Vuskovic all have U21 European Championship qualification matches scheduled.
