Kyan Vaesen will be getting playing time at Willem II next season. The Westerlo youth product will be joining the Dutch newly promoted team on loan for one season. 

From the KVC Westerlo academy to the highest level. That, in a nutshell, is the career path of the still only 23-year-old Kyan Vaesen. In our debut year in the first division in 2022-2023, he immediately showed his goal-scoring instinct with 6 goals in a thrilling second half of the season.

Last season, injuries temporarily put a brake on his growth story with the yellow and blue. However, he managed to finish his year on a high note with a goal in the final match of the Europe Play-Offs on the field of OHL.

Next season, Vaesen will further develop his nose for goals in the Eredivisie. There, he will trade the yellow and blue for a year in the blue-white-red of Willem II. The Dutch traditional club won the title in the second division last season and thus, after a short absence, is once again part of the highest division in the Netherlands.
