Jan Bernat will be gaining extra playing time in his home country of Slovakia next season. The 23-year-old midfielder will join DAC 1904, which finished second in the Slovakian top division last season. DAC 1904 also secured an option to purchase him at the end of the loan period.

This will be Bernat’s second loan spell in Slovakia. Last season, the former youth international played for FC Spartak Trnava, where he scored one goal and provided one assist in 17 matches.
