Welcome Luka

KVC Westerlo strengthens its defense for the upcoming season with Luka Vuskovic. The tall Croatian defender is considered one of his country’s greatest talents and has signed a one-season contract in the Kempen. “We are delighted to welcome a player with such potential,” said Wim Van Hove proudly.

He is only 17, but Luka Vuskovic has already achieved quite a bit in his (still young) football career. At Hajduk Split, he not only became the youngest goalscorer in the club’s history in his debut year with the first team, but he also promptly won the cup.

The Croatian youth international now wants to add another chapter to that success story at KVC Westerlo. The 1.93-meter-tall Croatian defender will help to strengthen the defense at ’t Kuipje for the coming season, wearing the number 44.

“With Vuskovic’s arrival, we emphasize our club’s excellent functioning, which has previously proven to be an outstanding development platform for young talents. Together with our entire entourage and staff, we look forward to playing an important role in the further growth of his already promising career.”
