Karol Borys will be loaned to NK Maribor for one year. The young Polish international will gain extra playing time with the Slovenian record champions in the coming season.

During his first months at KVC Westerlo, the talented midfielder quickly progressed to Poland’s U21 national team, where he scored on his debut against North Macedonia.

With his loan to Maribor, Borys takes an important step in his further development, with the aim of returning to KVC Westerlo as a key part of our future.

Last season, NK Maribor secured second place in the Slovenian league, earning a ticket to the qualifying rounds of the Europa League.
