No football in Liège tonight. The home team’s squad was blocked at their training center by certain supporters, preventing them from reaching the stadium. Consequently, Standard’s team was unable to participate in the match scheduled for Friday evening against KVC Westerlo.

Attempts at dialogue with these supporters have not led to finding a solution to lift the blockade.

Standard informed our club that it deeply regrets this situation and also wishes to apologize to KVC Westerlo as well as to the supporters of both sides who were present at the stadium tonight.
