Not less than 14 Kemphanen received a call-up from their national team coach for the upcoming international break. This underscores our club’s increasing impact on the international stage as a supplier of talented footballers.

New additions to the group of international KVCW players include Bakary Haidara and Romeo Vermant. Both young Kemphanen impressed the youth coaches of Ivory Coast and Belgium, respectively, with their performances in yellow and blue, earning them a spot in their respective squads. Haidara will face a prestigious friendly match against France’s U21 side, while Vermant joins Tuur Rommens for two UEFA U21 European Championship qualifying matches.

More youth selections include Karol Borys (Poland U18), Matija Frigan (Croatia U21), Ravil Tagir and Emin Bayram (Turkey U21), Arthur Piedfort (Belgium U19) and the American duo Bryan Reynolds and Griffin Yow (USA U23).

At the highest level, exciting weeks lie ahead for Sergiy Sydorchuk and his Ukraine team in the playoff matches for a spot in the 2024 UEFA European Championship. Additionally, we will also be keeping an eye on the performances of Jordan Bos (Australia), Allahyar Sayyadmanesh (Iran), and Josimar Alcocer (Costa Rica).
