Jordan Bos selected for Asia Cup

No flight to the upcoming training camp in Turkey, but one to Qatar for Jordan Bos. The Australian Kemphaan is swapping the yellow and blue of KVC for the colors of his country at the Asia Cup. For the 21-year-old Bos, it will be his first major tournament with the Socceroos.

Representing your country in a major tournament is the football dream of every professional player. For Jordan Bos, that dream is now coming true. The young left-back managed to secure a call-up for the Asia Cup, the Asian equivalent of the UEFA European Championship. In the tournament, Bos, alongside his Australian compatriots, will face India, Syria, and Uzbekistan in the group stage.

In preparation for the tournament, Jordan and his teammates also have a friendly match scheduled against Bahrain on January 6. Therefore, Bos will not be traveling with the rest of the Kemphanen to the training camp in Turkey on January 5.

In Qatar, many eyes will be on the performances of Jordan and his teammates at the Asia Cup. In 2015, the Australians managed to clinch the championship. We are already keeping our fingers crossed for new honors for the Socceroos.
