KVC Westerlo strengthens its defense with Bakary Haidara. The Ivorian central defender joins from the Right To Dream Academy in Ghana.
In recent years, this academy has evolved into a true talent factory, producing promising players such as Simon Adingra, who is currently making a name for himself at Brighton & Hove Albion after a stint with Union, and Ernest Nuamah, the record transfer from RWDM to Olympique Lyon for a whopping 25 million euros.
Bakary now aims to add his name to that list. With his move to Westerlo, the 18-year-old defender takes the next step in his career. His Right To Dream could become a Dream Come True story in the Kempen, and as a club, we are eager to contribute to his development.
Best of luck and welcome to KVC Westerlo, Bakary!
