Award packer. Ball picker. With Sergiy Sydorchuk, KVC Westerlo reinforces itself with an experienced midfield breaker for the next three seasons. The Ukrainian international leaves top club Dynamo Kiev after 11 years of loyal service with three titles, four cups and five super cups on his record.
There is no shortage of experience and leadership in KVC’s new acquisition. With 327 league appearances at the highest level with superpower Dynamo Kiev and another 56 international matches for Ukraine, the 32-year-old defensive midfielder already has quite a few miles on the counter at the highest level.
He may add two more internationals after signing his three-year contract with KVC Westerlo. The brand-new Kemphaan was called up by the Ukrainian national coach for the qualification matches against England and Italy next weekend. Afterwards, Sydorchuk will join his new teammates at’t Kuipje.
Good luck and welcome to Westerlo Sergiy!
