Jan Bernat is taking a new step in his career and will be loaned out to FC Spartak Trnava (Slovakia) for the upcoming season. Last year, Jan tore the cruciate ligament in his right knee. He has worked hard to make a comeback, and he will now have the chance to demonstrate this in his home country. FC Spartak Trnava plays in the first division of Slovakia and currently ranks 9th in the Nike Liga.

Although Jan will be playing under a different jersey next season, his connection with our club remains strong. KVC Westerlo has reaffirmed their trust in this young player by extending his contract until the end of June 2026.
