Fans who have purchased a jersey with the number 39 in our fan shop over the past two seasons can now rest assured. The jersey number of Thomas Van den Keybus will remain in ’t Kuipje, as the 22-year-old midfielder has signed a three-year contract with KVC Westerlo.

As a loan player from Club Brugge, Van den Keybus has become a key player in the squad of our Kemphanen over the past seasons, contributing to the team’s title and promotion in the Challenger Pro League 2021-2022. In addition to the championship title, he has already accumulated 61 matches in our yellow and blue jersey, scoring 6 goals and providing 4 assists.

With the permanent acquisition of Van den Keybus, our club has gained an important asset for the next three seasons, as he is already familiar with the club and the league, and at only 22 years old, he still has a lot of potential for growth.
