Shunsuke Saito wins the Kirin Cup with Japan

A first international break to remember for Shunsuke Saito. Our Japanese Kemphaan crowned a memorable week by lifting the Kirin Cup with Japan on Monday evening.

Japan defeated New Zealand 2-1 in the final. Saito was part of Japan’s senior squad for the Kirin Cup and made his debut for the Samurai Blue during this international break. The 21-year-old forward made his first appearance for the national team against Venezuela.

Congratulations, Shunsuke!
