A new Kemphaan: Abdoulaye Koné

A new Kemphaan arrives in Westerlo: Abdoulaye Koné. The 20-year-old Ivorian striker joins from Finnish side AC Oulu and signs a contract for four seasons.

Koné made the move to AC Oulu in 2026 and gained his first experience at the highest level of Finnish football, where he scored two goals and provided one assist.

With his height, physical strength and explosive profile, Koné brings an additional dimension to KVC Westerlo’s attacking line.
