Update preseason 2025-2026
Monday marked the return of our players to the club to kick off preparations for the new season.
The first two days were dedicated to physical and medical testing, and today, Wednesday, the first training session on the pitch is scheduled under the guidance of our new head coach Issame Charaï.
Friendly Matches Belgium
Pre-season will feature a series of friendly matches. At the moment, all games are scheduled to be played behind closed doors. Should this change, we will inform you immediately. Last-minute changes are always possible.
- June 21: KVC Westerlo – KV Mechelen
- June 27: KVC Westerlo – SK Lierse
- July 5: KVC Westerlo – STVV
- July 11: KVC Westerlo – Patro Eisden
- July 19: KVC Westerlo – Samsunspor
Friendly Matches Abroad
In addition, two international friendlies are on the schedule. The team will leave for a five-day training camp in the Netherlands on Monday, June 23. During this camp, we’ll face AEK Larnaca on Wednesday, June 25.
On Wednesday, July 16, we’ll play a friendly match against Panathinaikos FC in Greece.
