WESTERLO SAYS NO TO RACISM!
Following the negative choruses in the match at R.Exelsior Virton on September 1st, which led to KVC Westerlo being ballasted, KVC Westerlo calls for respect on and along the field.
Initially you are in the stadium to encourage your own players. When supporters want to express their dissatisfaction with a phase of play or a player from the other side, this can be done in a correct way. And not by insulting the other party or their supporters. It’s a pity that a minority still doesn’t realize this and thus gives all Westelsupporters a bad name and also discredits the club. Not only are fines imposed, but in case of persistent violations, stricter penalties are not inconceivable. By referring to wrong behaviour at other clubs, you don’t solve anything. These violations are also more than adequately established and punished in an appropriate manner.
We will not take any further steps in this matter. However, we would like to call on everyone to act with respect when you enter a stadium. To your fellow supporters, to your players but also to your opponents.
All together but all together positive with a clear no to racism or negative choruses.
