Preview Lommel SK

Bob Peeters took the 3 points to ’t Kuipje Saturday and left the club that is close to his heart empty-handed. Although it was not without a fight. Our kemphanen had to fight until the end to win this important victory. Afterwards in the dressing room, our coach got to see a team on the pitch that was going through fire for each other. That team still had to learn to keep calm and take its moments. It occurred via a penalty 0-1 but did not take advantage of the rooms later in the game to kill the game.

Winning mood

Lommel SK has completely recovered with a 10 out of 12 after a mediocre start to the season. On game day 7 the Limburgers picked up another point from ’t Kuipje. After that they only had to give up against RFC Seraing to put a 10 out of 12 on the tables and fight their way back into the race. Lommel is now third in the standings. Last weekend it even put RWDM aside with 4-0 digits. Jonkies Ugalde, Moreno and Zaroury found their way to the nets. Lommel coach Liam Manning is gradually gaining line in his young team so Lommel is currently fully in the running for second place.

Winning is a must

For our kemphanen it will be another important race on Sunday. If they want to sit at the table with peace of mind during the end of the year period, the hunt has to be opened on place 2. Westel gets 11 out of 15 out of his last 5 races. Not a bad report at all, but there is a sour feeling among many yellow-blue supporters. Our kemphanen still too often alternate strong performances with moments in which it has to endure the match from time to time. Within the team everyone is already on the same wavelength and they work hard week in, week out to achieve the necessary results. See you next Sunday at 16h00 in ’t Kuipje!
