Preview KVC WESTERLO – STVV
After the hangover that our kempans rose in the midweek match against Genk, it was flushed in the Guldensporenstadion with a business victory.
Three points, our fourth clean-sheet and the gap with the last three that gets bigger.
On Saturday we will play again in the Kuipje and will visit STVV.
Coach Jonas De Roeck noted after the game that the victory in Kortrijk was much more difficult than she had it shown. Our boys still have to learn to play the game against a ten -person team.
Central midfielder Nicolas Madsen was again one of the tastemakers in West Flanders. With his first of the season – the ball against Seraing, we are not counting – and his second assist, he was involved in the two goals.
Nene – Jajajaja – managed to put the final score on the board as a substitute and it is remarkable that Westerlo is currently the best in the class with the invaders who score. It was already the sixth time that this happened. No team is currently doing better.
“We will have good invaders” our coach noted during the press conference.
Typically for De Roeck this statement, but in this way we will say it: a compliment on the hat of our technical staff to make the invaders so hungry.
Sinan Bolat was also outstanding again. He just continued his second half of Genk and kept the zero on the board with a few handsome saves.
The surprise of the past match day was that Pietro Perdichizzi came out of nowhere in the basic team and that Ravil Tagir followed the other way.
With his body-to-go defense, our Italian Belgian ensured that Gueye got it on his hips and had to leave the field early after a response.

Westerlo De Ploeg is that takes the least number of yellow cards. We currently arrive at 18 pieces, the teams that come closest are Club Brugge (21), Antwerp (23) and Ghent (23), all 3 clubs from the G6.
Nowadays a lot of foreign clubs send their scouts to the Kuipje to come and follow players: for the French clubs these are: Bordeaux, Marseille, Nice, Troyes and Nimes; For the German Bundesligas: Mönchengladbach, Dortmund, Augsburg, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf; Sevilla and Cadiz come to take a look for the Spanish La Liga and also for the English Championship are QPR and Burnley – 2 clubs that run at the top.
Despite our many goals, we have already achieved 4 clean sheets. Only Antwerp (7), Club Brugge and Standard (6) and STVV (5) do better in this.
The canaries are a team that always play good matches full of dedication, but often forget to reward themselves.
Scoring is a problem, because currently with their twelve goals they are the worst of the Jupiler Pro League class.
On the other hand, they hardly get any goals against (15).
You should not expect spectacular results from them either. Five goals outdoors and six against, and this at seven games.
Coach Bernd Hollerbach can nevertheless have two Japanese people with world fame.
Midfielder Shinji Kagawa has been on the payroll of Borussia Dortmund (216 matches – 60 goals – 55 assists) and Manchester United (57 matches – 6 goals – 10 assists).
Attacker Shinji Okazaki played again at Stuttgart, Mainz, Leicester and Huesca where he came to 356 performances with 74 goals scored.
Some basisions will normally be missing in the tub. Goalkeeper Schmidt has been hurt and the last three games were replaced by Jo Coppens and Al-Dakhil, Konaté and Bauer should be suspended red.

People asked Kagawa the question which player made the most impression in his career? His answer: Christian Brüls … he can do anything with the ball. If you know that he has played together with Lewandowski, Immobile, Sancho, Gundogan, Reus, Aubameyang and the Red Devils Witsel, Batshuayi and Januzaj, then this is really a crazy answer.
The top scorer is Gianni Bruno with four goals and that he managed to score this number in two games (against Mechelen and Zulte Waregem).
She did not score in half of their matches
His last game in the Kuipje dates from 13 August. That Saturday we defeated Standard Liège 4-2. He then also scattered with a zipper yellow cards (7), although there were five for the team.
In the past he came to the Kempen four times to lead a match: Oh Leuven (1-2), Lierse (0-0), Antwerp (2-1) and the match against Standard.
He already whistled seven games for STVV, including five on the move. Three equal games then came out of the bus and two defeats.
