MISSION & VISION
KVC Westerlo likes to use its great impact on society to make a positive contribution to society. Together with the board and all employees of KVC Westerlo, we strive for an accessible club that is open and accessible to everyone, regardless of one’s origin, conviction or social background. So that everyone can live and experience KVC Westerlo.
Westel Circle is the collaborative project of KVC Westerlo with surrounding clubs. Our club finds it important to anchor itself regionally in this way. Through this partnership, the quality of the youth training of the regional clubs can be improved. A win-win situation for all.
People with disabilities have the right to participate in society. An ideal opportunity for this is meaningful work in an ordinary working environment. KVC Westerlo offers the opportunity to young people who are trained in part-time education to learn how to work at our club in a competence-oriented way. Westel Community is applying to function as a performance site for community service.
Red Cross Flanders and KVC Westerlo are looking for new blood donors together. Together we are launching an appeal to all our football players and football fans to register en masse as candidate blood donors.
Among other things, a targeted stadium action will be organized. In addition, KVC Westerlo will also make its accommodation available for organizing blood collection campaigns.
KVC Westerlo also takes into account fans with disabilities. We offer a special rate for them. Holders of a blue card for disabled people can park their cars for free. Furthermore, we try to do everything we can to adapt the stands as much as possible to their needs.
