3 players received an award
Today 3 players were put in the picture who have played a milestone of matches for our club. Koen Van Langendonck (200 games), Maxime Biset and Lukas Van Eenoo (both 100 games) were presented with a beautiful trophy by vice-president Hasan Cetinkaya and CEO Wim Van Hove. Congratulations to our Kemphanen.
Koen Van Langendonck: 200 games
Koen put on the Westel jersey for the first time in the magical 2013-2014 season. It became an unforgettable year for him. Playing champion in the Proximus League and keeping the zero in 18 games out of 34. In the 2016-2017 season, he became captain of the team. He also has a great statistic of stopping penalty kicks, no less than 7 out of 18 he managed to stop.
Maxime Biset: 100 matches
Max became a professional football player in 2005. Sixteen years and 350 games later, he is still on the pitch. On 9 September 2017 he played his first match for us, a 10-minute substitute on the Lierse pitch. In his 102 games played to date, he has scored five goals.
Lukas Van Eenoo: 100 games
For our number 7 this season has been his most fruitful. In 18 games he has scored seven goals and provided four assists. He never did better in a season. There were a few beauties too, including an Olympic goal in the home game against Deinze. Lukas recently re-signed with the club to stay until 2024.
